We received a very special Christmas card today

 from Jeff and Theresa Bartels, all the way from Germany.

 Captain Jeff Bartels is an "Army Chaplain," serving our Armed Forces.

They have a Kindergartner.

The same age as our daughter "Kendra," when we were in Germany, 33 years ago.

 It brought to mind, many fond memories, especially of Christmas time.

Experiencing "Christmas," in a foreign country is full of surprises.

Like the magnificent,

 "Christkindlmarkt!"

 This is such a beautiful sight to see. I felt as if I had been transported to a time and place ages old.

I have gone shopping many places, but try as I might, I cannot recall any that compared to Christmas shopping here.

& Indian Corn.

Open The Back Door Too!

Put A Pillar Candle In A Hurricane Vase.

  Surround It with Leaves, Acorns, or Small Pinecones.

The Air Is Seasoned With Spices.

At Bedtime,

 It's Goose Down Snuggling!

He Makes And Brings Me Coffee!

 I Love Love Love The Crackly Warm Fire.

And Mr. Dardy's Feet!

We Need the Firewood, 

Mr. Darcy Chopped in the Summer!
